From 1980 to the present day, our customers can count on a laboratory with a specialised team, dedicated to scientific research and able to keep up with new innovations by enhancing its analysis services with a lively critical spirit.

CERTIFICATIONS

  • Accreditation ACCREDIA, Italian Accreditation Body for Testing Laboratories,
    0254 A0254 B as an analysis laboratory operating in compliance with international standard
    UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17025;

RECOGNITIONS AND AUTHORISATIONS

  • Registration in the Apulia Region List (art. 6 of Regional Regulation no. 1 of 10 January 2006) of laboratories not attached to food industries that perform analysis as part of self-control procedures (Registration no. 10P).
  • Authorisation from the Ministry of Health to perform analysis on food producuts on behalf of food production companies that do not have an internal laboratory on:
    – Minced meat, in pieces and meat preparations, pursuant to D.P.R 309/98;
    – Fresh meat, as per D. L.gs 286/94;
    – Meat products, under D.Lgs 537/92;
    – Fishery products, as per D.Lgs 531/92;
    – Egg products, under D.Lgs 65/93.
  • Authorisation from the Ministry of Health to carry out self-control analysis on food products intended for particular nutritional uses – baby food, dietetic products – pursuant to D.P.R. 131/98.
  • Registration on the list of the Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies as a laboratory authorised to perform analysis of samples from organic farming pursuant to Article 12 of Regulation (EC) No. 882 of 29 April 2004 and subsequent amendments and supplements (Laboratory No. 82).
  • Authorisation from the Ministry of Agricultural Food and Forestry Policies to carry out, with reference to the authorised tests, official analysis in the oil industry, pursuant to the relevant national and EU regulations (Authorisation by Decree of the Ministry of Agricultural Food and Forestry Policies dated 15/11/2019).
  • Authorisation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry to perform, with reference to the authorised tests, official analysis in the wine industry and certificates of analysis for the export of wines in accordance with the relevant national and Community regulations (Authorisation by decree of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry of 15/11/2019 G.U. no. 288 of 09/12/2019).
  • Recognition of suitability by the Ministry of Health for asbestos analysis according to D.M of 14/05/1996.
  • IOC (International Olive Council) recognition for the performance of laboratory tests on olive oil and olive pomace oil (“Advanced Testing” and “Residues contaminants testing”).
  • Recognition by FOSFA, Federation of Oils, Seeds and Fats Association Limited, since 2002, as a FULL ANALYST able to carry out the determinations required by the FOSFA Technical Manual on oils, fats and oilseeds and fruits.
  • Recognition by AOCS, America Oil Chemists’ Society, as  approved chemists.
  • Registration on the list of laboratories authorised by COOP ITALIA to perform microbiological analyses
    and pesticide analyses on foodstuffs.
  • Entry on the list of laboratories recommended by the Italian Coeliac Disease Association for the determination of gluten in foodproducts (AIC).
  • Registration with Brazil’s Ministério da Agricultura, Pecuária e Abastecimento to carry out analyses
    of olive oil and olive pomace oil.
  • Recognition by the Taiwan FDA of the issuance of valid analytical certificates for checking the levels
    of copper chlorophylls in olive oils and olive pomace oils.
  • Registration with the Japanese Ministry of Health (through the Italian Ministry of Health)
    for authorisation to carry out analyses of foodstuffs intended for export to Japan
    (registration number IT10374).

PROFICIENCY TESTING

In order to assess its technical competence, the laboratory guarantees participation in national and/or international Proficiency testing.

Proficiency testing (PT) is a test used to evaluate the performance of a participant against pre-established criteria using inter-laboratory comparisons, i.e. the performance and evaluation of measurements or tests on the same or similar materials by two or more laboratories in accordance with pre-established conditions.

Participation in Proficiency Testing is not only a prerequisite for obtaining Accredia accreditation, it is also a tool used by Chemiservice to provide additional confidence to its customers, as it serves to continuously monitor its analytical processes.

    – Proof-ACS for olive oils and olive-pomace oils
  • FOSFA (Federation of Oils, Seeds and Fats Associations) for seeds and seeds oils;
  • TESTQUAL for oils, fruits and vegetables;
  • QS for fruits and vegetables;
  • FAPAS for food matrices;
  • PROGETTO TRIESTE for food matrices;
  • ARPAE Emilia Romagna-Coop for fruits and vegetables;
  • Unione Italiana Vini (UIV) for wines;
  • UNICHIM for water and food;
  • LGC for water and food.

CERTIFICATIONS AND ACCREDITATIONS

The Laboratory holds certifications, accreditations, recognitions, and authorisations from prestigious and authoritative national and international bodies.

Analysis on oils from olives

We carry out analysis for the merchological classification of oils, for the assessment of conformity with legislation and for reliable labelling.

Fat subastances analysis

We monitor contaminants and investigate the product profile, quality, authenticity, nutritional and health contents of fatty substances.

Food product analysis

We carry out specific analysis on food products and offer technical, systematic and rational support in the implementation of self-control.

Microbiological analysis and molecular biology

We check the hygiene and safety of food for human or animal consumption, water, cosmetics, work surfaces and air.

Enviromental analysis

We analyse domestic and urban water, air, soils, waste, massive and airborne asbestos, industrial and craft processing waste.

Haccp consultancy

Training, drafting of self-control plans, monitoring of their implementation, chemical and microbiological analysis necessary for business security and development.
