Our laboratory is internationally recognised as a reference point for the chemical analysis of olive oils. It is the food matrix on which we have gained the most significant analytical and consultancy experience.
Every year we carry out thousands of analysis on samples of extra virgin olive oils, refined olive oils, crude and refined olive-pomace oils from all over the world from small mills, large industries and operators from every segment of the supply chain. This has allowed us to consolidate a rich and varied observatory on the matrix and its peculiarities.
Our chemical analysis of olive oils is performed using official methods, and in the absence of standardised methods, the Chemiservice Laboratory can develop and validate reliable and robust in-house methods. Most official and in-house analytical methods are accredited.
