  • ACCREDIA accreditation (Italian Institute for Testing Laboratories accreditation) No. 0254 A - 0254 B as an analysis laboratory operating in compliance with the international standard UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17025.

The ACCREDIA mark or the reference to accreditation must not be used by the customers of the accredited Laboratories, nor they can be used in the documentation relating to a product or be reported on a product.   • FOSFA (Federation of Oils, Seeds and Fats Association LDT - London) accreditation, since 2002, as FULL FOSFA ANALYST able to perform the assessment provided for in the FOSFA Technical Manual on oils, fats and seed and fruit oils, including pesticides and Benzo[a]pyrene analysis.
  • International Olive Council recognises (International Olive Council - Madrid) the laboratory for the tests conducted on olive oils in accordance with the commercial standard (COI _T15 NC n3 Standard) and participation in the work of the Governmental Technical Commission for Vegetable Oils at the Experimental Oil and Fat Station (SSOG) of Milan.
  • FEDIOL (Federation representing the European Vegetable Oil and Protein meal Industry in Europe - Brussels) recognises for plant protection products, PAHs and Heavy Metals in oils and fats determination.
  • FDA of Taiwan recognises the issue of valid analytical certificates for added dye (cupric chlorophylls) level checks in olive and olive-pomace oils.
  • Certification for the analyses of samples taken during checks of organic agriculture according to Ministerial Decree 2592 of 12 March 2014 and inclusion in the test laboratories list set by the Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies (laboratory No. 23).
  • Registration in the QS- Fachgesellschaft Obst-Gemüse-Kartoffeln GmbH register of the approved laboratories for analysing residues in fresh fruits, vegetables and potatoes monitoring under the QS quality system.
  • Authorisation from the Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies Ministry with Ministerial Decree of 01/03/2004 OJ 16/03/20014. Chemiservice Srl obtained authorisation from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry to carry out official analysis in the olive sector throughout Italy.
  • Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies authorization to carry out official analysis in wine sector throughout Italy (Ministerial Decree of 27/11/2015 OJ 19/12/2015).
  • Ministry of Health authorization to carry out food analysis on behalf of food production companies without an internal laboratory on:
    • Minced meat, in pieces and meat preparations, in accordance with the Presidential Decree 309/98
    • Fresh meat, as per Legislative Decree 286/94 
    • Meat products, as per Legislative Decree 537/92
    • Fishery products, referred to in Legislative Decree 531/92 
    • Egg products, pursuant to Legislative Decree 65/93 
    • Ministry of Health authorization for the execution of own-check analysis of food products intended for a particular diet (baby food, dietetic products) according to Presidential Decree 131/98.

    Authorization from the Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies with Ministerial Decree 01/03/2004 OJ 16/03/2004. Chemiservice Srl obtained authorisation from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry to carry out official analysis in the olive sector throughout Italy.

  • Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies authorisation to carry out official analysis in the wine sector throughout Italy (Ministerial Decree of 27/11/2015 OJ 19/12/2015).

The laboratory is currently a member of the following international institutions:
  • AOCS (American Oil Chemists' Society);
  • AOAC (The Scientific Association dedicated to Analytical Excellence);
  • AACC (American Association of Cereal Chemists);
  • ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) – Organizational member (n° 1548022).

Quality System Management

The Laboratory aims to promote continuous internal improvement of quality, performance, efficiency and organisation.

  • Align the objectives with the requirements of UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard complying with the requirements of the ACCREDIA Accreditation Institution
  • Comply with binding legislation
  • Increase staff involvement and awareness by motivating and sharing each system update
  • Ensure transparency to maintain and improve the service level rendered to the customer and provide customised assistance 
  • Guarantee the Laboratory independence of judgment and proper functioning 
  • Optimise and refine the operating methods to minimise the margin of error of tests
  • Make the test results impartial and reliable
  • Provide test results in a short time

Guarantee and quality of the results

The quality and reliability of the result are guaranteed by a working method and an organisational structure that provide specific training, lifelong learning and access to technologically advanced equipment.
Chemiservice adopts analytical methods according to recognised international standards: AOAC, AOCS, ASTM, EN, EPA, FDA, ISO, NIOSH, UNI, APAT-IRSA.

  • constant participation in proficiency tests in various working areas and using certified reference materials;
  • periodic check and calibration of the simple and complex instrumentation used for testing;
  • continuous staff training, both for technical updating and for in-depth analysis of the Quality System.
